Dover boxing club sponsored a trip to Canada May 6-9 with some of the states best boxers, including our own Anthony Gangemi of Mine Hill who is a junior at Pope John High School. Anthony competed twice and won both his bouts against tough competition.
The team competed on May 7th and took 4 out of six bouts and on May 8th won 4 bouts, lost 4 bouts and tied one.
The trip was made possible by the money raised from hosting team Canada in March. Pictured in the photo is front row left to right: Anthony Gangemi 152 lbs., Eric Estelle 125 lbs., Ibn Richardson 178 lbs., Angel Vargas 145 lbs.
